WaterWorks Waterpark features pools, slides, fountains, a shallow beach area, jungle walks, beach volleyball (sand court), shade pavilions, full-service concessions, and coin-operated lockers. Events at the pool include "Fabulous Fridays", which offer games, give-a -ways, and special food tasting/sales on 5 Fridays during the summer season. Ben Lomond Community Center hosts a variety of recreation programs, including dance lessons. Jenkins Park, 13499 Hillendale Drive, features basketball courts, playgrounds, picnic pavilions, and parking. Cloverdale Park is located at 15150 Cloverdale Road. Prince William County Ice Rink (Skate Quest) features an Indoor Ice Arena including an Olympic Rink and an NHL Rink, a Pro Shop, Skate Rentals & Lockers, Concessions, Restrooms, and Parking. Dale City Recreation Center (703-670-7112) features Nautilus training equipment, a 25 yard heated indoor pool with Zero Depth Access Ramp, and a 16 Person Whirlpool. The facilities offer aquatic exercise classes for all ages, learn to swim classes for children, adults, and seniors citizens, private swim lessons, family swim times, open swim and lap swim. Sharron Baucom-Dale City Recreation Center (SBDCRC) also features a covered picnic pavilion, BBQ grills, and batting cages (all available to rent); and hosts Arts-n-Crafts classes for children ages 2-6; a state licensed pre-school for children ages 2-4; and a state licensed nursery for children of parents taking classes or using the fitness center, with separate facilities for infants, toddlers, and older children. Wee Fit, a Children's Creative Fitness Program offering music & movement activities for ages 2-4, meets on MW mornings (703-730-1060 for info, 703-730-1051 to register monthly). Martial arts classes (Aikido, Judo, Kendo, Self Defense, Soo Bahk), special interest programs (Drama, Home Décor, Sewing), After School Enrichment classes (Karate, Dance, Art, Fitness, Children and Adult Dance), Child & Adult Sport Leagues/Classes (Soccer Strides, Li'l Hitters and Shooters, Adult Kickball and co-ed Basketball, Fast Break Youth Basketball), and Summer Camp programs (full day recreation, gymnastics, specialized mini camps, sports, outdoor adventure, preschool) also meet at SBDCRC. Birchdale Center, which features a pool, playground and tennis courts, also hosts summer camp programs, including full day camp programs for ages 5-7, Buddy Camp, mini camps, and a meeting spot for the Day Trippers camp. Home-schooled youngsters can participate in theater, fencing and gymnastics programs. Dale City Commuter Lot hosts a Farmers Market on Sundays from 8 AM-1 PM from April through mid-November; the open air market features locally grown vegetables, fruit, plants, as well as baked goods, salsa, meats, sorbet, honey, roasted nuts, roasted coffee beans, soaps & lotions.

Fairmont Park also features Concessions and a Water Fountain; Independent Hill, located next to County landfill and Animal Shelter, houses Baseball Fields; and Mayhew Sports Complex also features Football/Lacrosse Fields. George Hellwig Memorial Park houses Park Authority Headquarters and a Mini-Library. SplashDown Waterpark, 7500 Ben Lomond Park Drive inside Ben Lomond Park, features a 770 foot Lazy River, a 25 Meter Lap Pool, an Interactive children’s area with 4 slides, bubblers and fountains, an Activity Pool, Cannon Ball Slides, 4-Story Waterslides, Tropical Twister Waterslides, a Lilly Pad and Log Walk, a Big Kahuna Beach with 250 tons of Sand, Funbrellas and Pavilions. The water park offers morning group swim lessons, private swim lessons, and junior life-guarding classes. 18-hole Generals Ridge Golf Course is set in a hardwood forest of specimen oak, beech and poplar trees, and offers play suitable to all levels of ability. Ben Lomond Community Center offers a variety of recreational programs, including dance classes for children ages 4-18 and dance workshops for all ages. The community center houses the Spotlight Dance Company, which accepts (by audition) individuals with at least 4 years of Ballet, Tap, and Jazz dance experience. Other children's programs at Ben Lomond Community Center include a state licensed Playschool for ages 3-5 (TTH AM for age 3, MWF AM or PM for ages 4-5), Tae Kwon Do for ages 6-18 (instructor from the Karate Sports Academy in Warrenton), Music Together (ages 6 months-4 years, Parent Participation), and Summer Camps for ages 5-13 (a variety of camps, themes/interests, ages and hours for each program varies). Cheer Dynasty Gym, 10689 Wakeman Ct, hosts Cheer & Tumble programs, including Pre Cheer & Tumble for ages 5 and under, Cheer & Tumble for ages 6 and older, and High School Prep for grades 8-12.

Prince William County Stadium Complex, a 6,000 seat baseball stadium that is home to the Potomac Nationals also features a BMX Racetrack. Lake Ridge Park features a Marina, located along the banks of the upper Occoquan Reservoir, that offers fishing, boating; and a 9-hole Golf Course that includes a miniature golf facility, as well as hiking trails, picnic pavilions (available to rent, 703-494-5464), playgrounds, and wooded natural area. Activities, services & events at Lake Ridge Golf Course include golf tournaments and lessons; junior and senior citizen rates, weekly Ladies, Men's & Youth Leagues, a weekly County Employee League, a weekly Mixed Couples/Date Night, and Golf Camps; course features include driving cages and a putting green. Activities & programs at Veterans Memorial Regional Park include dance, karate, summer camps for children ages 6-13, and a gym for sports team rentals (open gym), as well as dog obedience classes (through Marumsco Dog Training Club), a state licensed pre-school for children ages 3-5, a "Creature Feature" outdoor program for ages 3-8.

Recreation facilities in Prince William include Chinn Aquatics and Fitness Center (next to Chinn Regional Library), which houses a pool and fitness center, featuring a variety of fitness equipment. The center hosts various summer camp programs, including a morning Summer Tot Camp for ages 3-5 (M-F, 703-730-1064 for info), Van Gogh For It Art Camp, Rising Star Drama Camp, Park Authority Idol Singing Camp, You Go Girl! Camp, Steppin' It Up Camp, and Cross Training Camp. A Before & After School program, which includes teacher workdays, early dismissal days, daily transportation to and from school, after school snack, homework time, gym time, library visits, and weekly swimming, operates during the school year and serves Lake Ridge, Springwoods, Old Bridge, and Westridge Elementary Schools; as well as Lake Ridge and Woodbridge Middle Schools. Locust Shade Park features facilities for Boating & Fishing (an 8-acre trout-stocked Lake and a Marina with boat rental), an Amphitheater hosting shows in the Spring and Summer, am 18-hole Golf Course with a 25-station driving range (Forest Greens Golf Club); an 18-hole Miniature Golf Course, Batting Cages, Tennis &, Volleyball Courts, Playgrounds, Picnic Pavilions, Trails, Restrooms, and Parking.
