The Cunningham Aquatic Center features an Olympic-size pool, which is the home for several local water polo and swim teams, as well as the site of water safety, first aid, lifeguard, water rescue, water exercise, and learn to swim classes for all ages and ability levels. The center offers on-site dressing rooms and showers, and is available for private rental. The Vallejo Plunge Swimming Pool is open for lap swimming. Other recreational programs include youth & adult sports, arts & crafts, dance, health/fitness, martial arts and specialty classes. Class locations include the various community centers as well as Foley Cultural Center in Foley Park. Elementary school children can participate in the District's before & after school Programs, operated jointly with the school district, with sites at Cave, Glen Cove, Pennycook, Steffan Manor, and Wardlaw schools. Winter Break camps for children in grades 1-5 are offered at Norman King, South Vallejo Community Center and Vallejo Community Center. Teens can participate in special events, such as Middle School Dances & Teen Swim Fest. The Therapeutic Recreation Program (REACH), 707-648-5317, offers Reachercize, Sports & Games and Expressive Arts programs for teens and/or adults, as well as special events such as a Christmas Dance.

Recreational facilities in Fairfield include neighborhood, community, sports, and pocket parks. Neighborhood parks are usually within walking distance from home and include play apparatus, benches, sport courts and picnic areas. Community parks, which serve an area of up to two miles, have all the amenities of a neighborhood park, and collectively feature specialized sports area for baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis, horseshoes, swimming, and skating, a group picnic area (available for rental), public restrooms, and off-street parking. Pocket Parks: Pocket parks have a small play and seating area. Sport Parks: Sport Parks (707-428-7428 for info) have sports facilities exclusively. Allan Witt and Laurel Creek Park feature baseball, softball and Little League fields (Laurel Creek Park also offers a soccer field), Cordelia Park offers Little League fields, Lee Bell Park features a softball field for women, and Octo Inn Soccer Complex, Capitola & Waterman, has 10 soccer fields. Rockville Hills Regional Park, Trails, and the open spaces of Dover Hill, Rolling Hills, Serpas Ranch and Spy Glass properties host a variety of flora and fauna and offer scenic views of the community. Aquatics programming will be enhanced with the expected opening in early 2008 of the Allan Witt Aquatics Center, which will include an indoor year-round instructional and recreational pool, a zero depth pool with a children's playground, a wet play area, two waterslides, family changing rooms, concession stand and picnic and party facilities. Recreational programs include adult sports leagues, youth sports, youth and children's art, dance, cooking and music classes, before- & after-school care for elementary school age students, swim lessons, Holiday, Spring Break and Summer Day Camps, Red Ribbon Lock-in and teen dances, and senior citizen programs & activities, such as arts & crafts, bridge, dance, clubs, trips & tours, and support groups. Fairfield Center for Creative Arts, 1035 Texas St in downtown Fairfield, 707-428-7469, hosts a professional performing arts series for the community and a student audience series for area youth.

Recreational facilities include Vlatis Community Center, 707-449-5657; McBride Center, 91 Town Square Place, 707-469-6661; Three Oaks Community Center & Graham Aquatic Center, 1100 Alamo Dr 707-449-6122 (707-449-6124 for Aquatic Center); Ulatis Community Center & Gardens, 1000 Ulatis Dr, 707-449-6214; and Georgie Duke Sports Center, 720 E Monte Vista Ave, 707-469-6664. 12,600 square-foot Georgie Duke Sports Center features a gym, which offers drop-in open gym for youth/adults and drop-in badminton for adults, and a multi-purpose room for sporting events. The sports center hosts many of the department's indoor sports programs as well as the PAL boxing program. Other facilities include Andrews Park, 720 East Monte Vista, 707-449-6126; Pena Adobe Park (adjacent to Lagoon Valley Park), 707-449-6126; Lagoon Valley Park, Pena Adobe and I-80 Exit, 707-449-6126; and Arlington Park Foxboro Parkway/Peabody Road, 707-449-6126. Andrews Park features Great Wonders Playground for children, barbecue grills, restrooms and a picnic area that can accommodate 100 people. Pena Adobe Park offers 37 picnic tables, 2 rental areas, a large gazebo, 2 horseshoe pits, a small pond with water fowl, an antique farm equipment display, restrooms and water stations.

Arlington Park offers a picnic area seating up to 72 people, barbecue grills and restrooms. Recreational activities include Gymnastics, Youth & Adult Sports, Fitness, Martial Arts, Yoga, Golf (Green Tree Golf Course), Swimming, Environmental Education, TGIFun Program, Arts & Crafts, Dance, Holiday Camps (Elementary school age), CPR & First Aid classes, Computer, Conversational Spanish, Special Interest classes, and workshops & discussion groups. Children's Corner Preschool meets at Browns Valley, Padan, Cooper, Three Oaks, & Alamo Recreation Centers; Busy Bees Parent-Child class is offered at Foxboro Recreation Center. Thank Goodness It's Fun Club is a before- & after-school program for elementary school age children that is held at Alamo, Browns Valley, Cambridge, Cooper, Fairmont, Foxboro, Meadowlands & Padan centers, adjacent to their respective schools, aw well as at the Three Oaks Community Center. Winter Holiday Camp (Camp Frosty) meets at Browns Valley Center, 261 Wrentham Dr & at Headquarters, 1104 Alamo Dr. The Markham After-School All Stars program is held at Markham Elementary School. Class locations for all programs include Al Patch Park, McBride Center, Three Oaks Community Center, Three Oaks & Centennial Park Tennis Courts, Vacaville Recreation Center, Graham Aquatic Center, Ulatis Community Center, and Jepsen & Vaca Pena Recreation Centers (Teen Center & After-school programs, Winter Break camp offered at Jepsen). Recreational facilities in Benicia include City Gym, 190 East L St, the Clocktower, 1189 Washington St, the Senior Center, 1201 East 2nd St, the Youth Activity Center, 150 East K St, James Lemos Pool, 181 East J St, Fitzgerald Field, East 2nd St at East H St and the Marina, 266 East B St, 707-745-2628., a full-service facility 2 blocks from downtown offering a fuel dock, pump-out station, launch ramp, general store, restrooms and showers, laundry facilities and secured gates. Benicia also operates 20 parks, including 3 which, along with Fitzgerald Field, are available for rental (Benicia Community Park, Rose Dr & Dempsey Dr; City Park, 1st St & Military West, and Civic Center Park, 151 East K St; 707-746-4306 for available dates, times and rental fees). Recreation facilities in Dixon include the Pat Grannuci Aquatic Center, which offers recreational swimming, swim lessons, and adult lap swim and hosts the Dixon High School swim team from March - May, the Dixon Dolphins youth swim team from May-July, and the Dixon Aquatic Club U.S. Swimming Youth Swim Team from August-December; and the Senior/Multi-Use Center, which houses recreation programs for all ages and social service/nutrition programs for senior adults. Other facilities include Hall Park, which features tennis courts, an ampitheater and a wading pool; Northwest Park, which offers recently upgraded play equipment and 2 new neighborhood parks, Patwin Park and Conejo Park. Various facilities, including the Senior/Multi-Use Center, Group Barbecue Areas, Hall Park Amphitheater, and a variety of athletic fields can be reserved by organizations and individuals. Recreational classes and programs include adult sports (basketball, coed volleyball, softball), special interest activities for youth and adults such as youth cooking classes, cartooning, holiday oriented classes, tennis, teen trips, teen nights, fly fishing classes, conversational Spanish, scrap booking, CPR, summer day camp and a variety of exercise classes. After-School Programs are available for elementary & middle school students: C.A.S.A. (Constructive After-School Activities) for Kids program is offered at Anderson Elementary School and the Cougar Club Den is open at Jacobs Middle School. Winter 2006 classes include Aerobic Step & Fitness, BIRTHJOY-Childbirth Education, Dixon Youth Basketball, Exercise to Music, Frostie's Wonderland Camp, Lifeguard Training and Youth Wrestling Clinic. Class locations include Silveyville Elementary School, Anderson School and Jacobs Middle School. Special events throughout the year include the Spook Party Festival, Easter Extravaganza, Dixon Youth Track Meet, and Community Yard Sale. The recreation department coordinates activities with various Youth & Adult Sports Organizations, such as Dixon Little League, Dixon Girls Softball, Dixon Dolphins, Dixon Aquatic Club, Dixon Soccer Club, Dixon Youth Football, Dixon Adult Softball Association, and the Dixon Co-Ed Soccer Club, as well as The Healthy Start Collaborative, which brings representatives from a variety of social service, school, and City agencies together to serve students and their families.

Recreation facilities in Suisun City include 20,000 square foot Nelson Community Center, which houses the Recreation and Community Services offices, a preschool and meeting rooms for the various recreation programs and classes; Suisun City Senior Center, 318 Merganser Dr, 707-421-7203, which offers informational resources, social services, nutrition, recreation and travel opportunities for residents age 50 and older; Suisun City Marina, 707-429-2628 (BOAT), which features a new Harbormaster building at 800 Kellogg St and provides 150 rental berthing slips along with a 300 ft. guest dock and free public boat launch ramps at the south end of the marina; Suisun City Irving H. Lambrecht Sports Complex and 5 city parks, which collectively offer a Softball/Baseball Field, Soccer Fields, Picnic Areas, and Waterfront Plaza. Programs/activities at the senior center include computer class, individual use of computers, bingo, movies, hot lunch served daily, craft class, knitting and crochet, exercise cards, Bible study, monthly dinner-dance, public health nurse, trips, super-Saturday (center open once a month for cards, bingo movies and hot dogs), quarterly yard sales (all welcome to participate), special social functions (dinners, gatherings and other events), and educational and informative programs on topics ranging from legal aid to medical assistance. General recreation programs include Youth Sports (Soccer, Basketball, Dodgeball, T-Ball, Flag Football), Adult Sports (Indoor Soccer, Basketball Softball) Dance (Children's Ballet/Tap, Belly), Martial Arts (all ages) and Preschool Programs: Wee Tots (ages 2 1/2-3, MWF 9:30-11:30), Li'l Folks Preschool (ages 3-4, 9:15-11:45 MWF, MW, TTH), and Pre-Kindergarten (ages 4-5, 9-Noon, MWF, MTW, TTH).
