Foster City Preschool & Day Care Center 1064 F Shell Blvd Foster City CA 94404 650-341-2041

Foster City Preschool & Day Care Center is a year round, state licensed, facility staffed with fully qualified teachers. Our school meets or exceeds all state requirements for teaching in a private childcare center. Our teachers have the ability and are sensitive to the needs of each and every child. A ratio of 1 teacher for every 12 children is maintained for the 3 to 6 year olds and a ratio of 1 teacher for every 9 children is maintained for the 2 year olds.

The school is a member of PACE (Professional Association for Childhood Education).

Foster City Pre-School and Day Care Center's primary goal is to serve the children by offering a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The curriculum is programmed in the areas of language development, gross motor, fine motor, pre-reading, math, science, music, and arts and crafts. Incorporated into our program are field trips, dance classes, guest entertainers, soccer classes, and computer classes. We do have a toilet training program available.

We offer a program geared to 2 and 3 year olds, and a program for 4 through 6 year olds. We stress math concepts in order to lay a foundation for the future success of the children. McGraw Hill Reading series is a part of the pre-kindergarten curriculum. We want the children to be successful communicating by helping them master the English language. We want their success to continue in later life by being able to communicate in English from preschool to elementary, secondary, college and university. We foster our international diversity with events such as an International Day and an International Week featuring cuisine, music, parent presentations on their country’s culture, and more!

For the protection of our children, we have a fenced playground, a security surveillance system, a security coded entrance and a safe fire and burglar alarm system.

Our goals are to bring the joy of learning, enhance academic learning, self-discipline, self-esteem, and provide a loving and caring atmosphere. We work on developing the "whole child." We also stress creative and independent thinking, social interaction, social, mental, and physical development.
