Special Kids: A Special Needs Resource & Referral Guide

Welcome to Special Kids, a guide to public and private programs, organizations and services in the Greater Chicago area for children from birth through high school. This 9-page booklet (see below for complete index), contains listings of dozens of organizations and service providers, and is available for $2.00 plus tax (14 cents) and mailing ($1.00) for a total of $3.14.

Customers who order by email and/or supply their email address will also receive their order electronically, upon request (attached Word files) at no extra cost.

Notice - Mailing Policy: Booklets are mailed, generally by first-class mail, generally within 24-48 hours of receiving an order, through the Postal Service (correct postage is figured and envelopes are mailed at the nearest mailbox). Spiral-Bound Books (entire Child Care Connections & entire School's In-Chicago) are mailed 4th class special - Book Rate, and will have a dated postal receipt for the mailing. ParentLink does not routinely track items mailed, due to the expense involved (but can send your order certified, return-receipt requested, at your expense, $3.00 extra). We will email anyone who provides an email address with the date the order was mailed, and put in a tracking request if your order doesn't arrive within 5-7 days from when it was sent, or as per post office policy (upon notification from the customer). If your order doesn't arrive within 14 days of the tracking request, a replacement will be mailed. We ask any purchasers through PayPal to allow this process before making a chargeback due to non-receipt of materials ordered.
