Looking for a fundraiser that is ongoing, simple to do, free of money-collecting duties, and easily added to any other fundraisers in which your school, center, or organizations participates? Then you could consider ParentLink's Fundraising Partnerships Program.

 

How it works:

 

Step One: Center, school, or provider requests (by email, subject line "fundraiser enrollment form", to familyguides@yahoo.com) an enrollment form, which will be emailed. The form is then to be completed, printed up and mailed to ParentLink Info Services, 1674 Cumberland, Aurora IL 60504.

 

Step Two: ParentLink Info Services emails sample booklets and customized order form (as described above).

 

Step Three: Participating school, center, or child care provider publicizes the fundraiser (as described above).

 

Step Four: Potential customer emails ParentLink (subject line "fundraiser for , e.g., ABC Child Care Center") to request customized order form (please supply publication/area, e.g. Child Care Connections for Chicago area). Order form will include the line "10% of this purchase will benefit, e.g., ABC Child Care Center" and the center, school, or child care provider 4-digit registration number (as stated on the enrollment form).

 

Step Five: Customer pays for order in one of two ways: A) Emails order to familyguides@yahoo.com with subject line "invoice through PayPal", and pays invoice upon receipt or B) Mails order with check/money order payable to ParentLink Info Services, 1674 Cumberland, Aurora IL 60504.

 

Step Six: ParentLink emails files (Word and/or Excel attachments) to customer. If paper copies are desired, customer must include applicable mailing charges in their mailed order or notify ParentLink so these charges can be included in the PayPal invoice.

 

Step Seven: ParentLink sends monies owed to centers, schools, or providers on a monthly basis through PayPal, as well as an accounting record (Spreadsheet list) of purchases made through the program for a given facility. Spreadsheet list will include customer name, publication(s) or spreadsheet list ordered (e.g. Child Care Connections, Los Angeles City or Child Care spreadsheet list, Orange County), date of purchase, amount of purchase, and amount owed to the participating school, center, or child care provider.

 

Special Note: All participating schools, centers, or child care providers are eligible for 1) A free listing in the Child Care or Private School directory for their area. Simply email ParentLink, familyguides@yahoo.com, with the subject line "free publications listing" (please include facility name, county and state) and ParentLink will email the facility's current listing (if it exists) for possible updates or corrections, or provide instructions on getting the facility included in the publication; and 2) A free web member based page for a 1-year period (upon reaching the level of $25 in sales, after fundraising percent is deducted). The page will be renewed at no cost for every 12-month period that the $25 level of sales is reached. ParentLink will provide details about the page to eligible facilities.
