Rockwall Independent School District operates 18 schools covering grades PK-12, which serve 11,519 students in Rockwall and Heath. 12 schools are elementary level (generally grades PK-5 or PK- 6), 2 are middle schools (generally grades 6-8 or 7-8) and 4 are high schools (generally grades 9-12).
