Greenville Parks and Recreation: Civic Center 5501 Hwy 69 S Greenville TX 5402 903-457-3144

Recreational facilities in Greenville include Fletcher Warren Civic Center, Municipal Auditorium, 7 parks, 1 sports park, 1 ball field, and 1 swimming pool. The Civic Center features a ballroom and meeting rooms, all available for rental, and the 1,734 seat Municipal Auditorium also can be rented. The parks collectively feature playgrounds, grills, picnic tables, pavilions, athletic fields (soccer, baseball, football), courts (basketball, volleyball), jogging trails, fishing areas and restrooms. Carver Field and Greenville SportsPark both offer lighted ball fields and Greenville SportsPark also features a lighted in-line hockey court, fishing pier, walking trails and Aunt Char’s Kid Zone Playground. Wright Park also offers an in-line hockey court, along with tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course. Long Branch Park features an exercise trail and JA-LU swimming pool offers aquatic programs. Recreational programs in Greenville include youth baseball, softball, soccer & basketball (all through the YMCA, 903-455-5405) and football (through the Boys & Girls Club, 903-455-9233) and adult sports leagues (softball, flag football, basketball, volleyball, tennis and laser tag).

Recreation facilities in Commerce include 3 parks (City, Bicentennial & Ivory Moore), City Pool (adjacent to City Park) and Eddie Moore Sports Complex. City Park features a Lighted Baseball Field, Basketball Court, Grills, Pavilion w/electricity available, Picnic Tables, Play Areas and Restrooms; Bicentennial Park offers Picnic Tables, Play Areas and a Walking Path; Ivory Moore Park features Baseball fields, Pavilion w/electricity available, Grills, Picnic Tables and Play Areas; Eddie Moore Sports Complex (adjacent to Bicentennial Park) offers Lighted Baseball and Softball Fields, Soccer Fields, Restrooms, Play Area and a Concession Stand. City Pool is open during the summer and offers public and family swim times, and swim lessons for ages 3 & up (Parent/Child class is possible depending on demand). Pool admission is by daily rate or which purchase of a coupon book (discounted admission rate). Recreation programs include Youth Sports (basketball, baseball, softball, t-ball and soccer), youth swim team and Senior Adult Activities (trips for adults throughout the year).
