DeKalb County's Parks and Recreation Department maintains a park system which includes 130 parks offering about 6,000 acres of parkland and open space, including picnic areas and trails, playgrounds, golf courses, tennis & basketball courts, pavilions, ball fields and recreation centers. The county parks and recreation department has numerous facilities in the City of Atlanta, and Recreation Centers in Lithonia, Scottdale, Decatur and Tucker. Decatur also is home to the Mason Mill Center for Seniors & Disabled, 1340-B McConnell Dr, 404-679-1349 and DeKalb Tennis Center, 1400 McConnell Dr, 404-325-2520.
