Recreation facilities in Pickens County include Bent Tree Mountain Resort Community, 185 Bent Tree Dr, 770-893-2629; Lee Newton Park on Stegall Dr, 706-692-5600; Roper Park, 1826 Refuge Road, 706-253-8862 1826; Jasper City Park on Pioneer Road; Arrowhead Country Club on Camp Road, 706-692-5634; and Pickens County Senior Center, 400 Stegall Dr, 706-692-6133. Lee Newton Park features a picnic shelter/pavilion, play structure and gazebo. Roper Park offers a playground, outdoor public swimming pool, picnic pavilion, and recreation building. All facilities are in Jasper. Recreation programs include swimming, t-ball, baseball, softball, soccer and summer camps. The Pickens Sea Dragons Swim Team, 404-731-1396, offers a competitive swim program.
